Russell is a 4th generation Texan, with a 25-year background in CRE development and asset management.  He is an innovative real estate advisor, investor, entrepreneur, and community leader with multiple asset classes and portfolio experiences.


Expanding from architect to developer; he has thorough mastery of the development process, depth from an owner/operator perspective and expertise in executing unparalleled solutions for his clients.  Over his career, he’s been blessed with clients trusting his vision and insight from the US, Bahamas, Italy, and New Zealand.   Assets include Class A & B Offices, Resorts, Hotels, Casinos, Retail, Mixed-Use, Multifamily, Senior Living, Light-Flex Industrial, Last-mile Warehousing and Biotech Labs.


Prior to CIP, Russell has served as Investor Owner’s Representative for an international mortgage lender, VP of Development for a tri-state non-profit agency, several senior leadership roles in development, asset management and architecture.  He was also a Founding Principal for a commercial design-build architecture firm in NYC.


Born in San Antonio and refining his true-grit work ethic on the family ranch; Russell holds a Master of Architecture and Minor in Urban Planning & Civil Engineering from Texas Tech.


In the community, you will find Russell with his wonderful wife and their two children, enjoying the outdoors in our beautiful Texas Hill Country.


He’s dedicated to supporting the community by serving as Vice-Chair of Dripping Springs’ Economic Development Committee, Chamber of Commerce and DSISD Bond Advisory Board.  He is also active in Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Central Texas, Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (CTCAR), National Association of Realtors (NAR), Texas Association of Realtors (TAR) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).


He also gives back his time, talent, and treasures to philanthropy and nonprofits such as Bethany Lutheran, Habitat for Humanity, Upbring Children’s Organization and Foster Village Inc.
